It's okay to stop now

What in the world did I mean about my blog title?

Have you ever endured your birthday for like a week, listening to every one singing out of tune versions of the "Happy Birthday Song"? That IS what I meant!!!

The first few singers would be very much okay. The next ones are like so-so. On the day itself, it's like raining hail and brimstone of the same song. (No offense, people!) And on and on it goes until you wised you brought earmuffs with you in the office. (Guys, please spare the celebrant. Grant them some peace...)

But all in all, I ENJOYED MY BIRTHDAY!!!

I found out that I had several people celebrating their birthdays on the same day... (Duh?! What do I expect? There's only 365 days in a year..)

LEIGH FORMILLEZA
REAN FARAON
DAUGHTER OF PASTORS REY AND JOYCE
BABY GIRL OF KUYA RAIN AND ATE IRENE
Small world!!! And these people are directly connected to me.. So I feel much better that I'm sharing the endless musical greeting with them...
I don't have any pictures to show you how I spent my day. All my plans ALMOST happened. Wished it hadn't rained so much yesterday and caused so much traffic, not to mention so much "PUTIK" in the sidewalks and main thoroughfares after the rain shower. I was wearing shorts and every 4 minutes I had to wipe off the streaks and drops and scandal of having mud on my legs. It was horribly disgusting (the mud I am talking about is from BACLARAN... ewww!)
This is also the first time I shared ice cream with the office peeps. In days of old, the company would prepare something for the month's celebrants. Nowadays, SARILING SIKAP NA LANG KUNG GUSTO MO MAGHANDA. (Meaning, If you want to treat others, you have to get it from your own pocket...)
My lola and I have to go to Divisoria tomorrow to buy the cloth that I need. Baclaran turned to be an insufficient place to look.
Just a while ago, some people from my Yuppy Band prayed for me. The guy who was leading prayer mentioned "that You may grant her patience in Your dealings with her". Unbelieveable, but that was the Holy Ghost talking! It was only God and me who knows what the real score is in THAT special arena...
To close, I am thankful and happy that I am 26. It only comes once. So why not enjoy it. I have 364 days left before I turn myself over to the next level! Enjoy your birthday (in peace and solitude, if you now know what I mean)!!!
